The Right Stuff
We've got Buddy for a few days this week, and I will say it has been fun. Buddy is such a good doggie, and has a personality all his own. I've missed him over the winter and it is so good to see him. Shiloh and Daisy are also glad he is here.
Have I mentioned that I cannot wait until Summer. Right now things are so dark, gloomy and depressing that I can't hardly stand it. I want these next few weeks to fly by at a break-neck speed so life can quit standing still. When life stands still it moves at a snails pace, or probably even slower than that. Analogy: The screech sound of a record player that has lost power. . . . Screechhhhhhh. . . then stop.
I took Thursday off and Friday is our day off, so I have Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sunday off. Yay!
Losts of stuff on my mind, but I have decided that I should do as I always do, and do the right thing. . . . The right thing helps you sleep better at night, enjoy what you should enjoy, clears your mind, enables you to love more and despair less, lets you enjoy the small things, lets you relish in the large things. . . .
Well.. . . . my thoughts for this Friday.

Been Awhile
Got up at 3:30 am this morning, sleep only seems to come between the hours of 6-9 pm. I have spent the morning reading blogs, both mine and others, so I thought I would see if I could access this and post something.
GloJean Happenings:
I'm 60 now, and that feels awful.
Still Working
Grandkids are growing at a rapid pace
Dogs are still here
If I don't quit eating, I am going to pop
Stressed beyond belief
Can't wait for summer
Gotta go, cause I'm hungry.

The Sweetness
Christmas come and gone, and I am glad. For Christmas, I gave Dianna a trip to the salon to get her "nales" done. I promised Savannah that she could accompany us and we would make it a girls day. I got a pedicure, and Savannah got her "nales" painted. She must have had a good time that day. When we got back she wrote the note on the picture above on my calendar. I love this picture especially the way she spelled nails and done. Gotta love that sweet little girl. She sat so still and was soooo good at the salon. I have also included a picture of her with her favorite Christmas gift from Santa. She is a real sweetie !!!

The Socks
What can I say about my hubby. He numbers his socks. The "D" on the socks stands for Dad, so we have Dad 1 (D1) etc.
Mark also numbered Joshua and Michael's socks as well. Those sock numbers run J1 and M1 respectively. . .You get my drift I'm sure.
The weird part about it all is that Joshua and Michael do their own laundry and D socks never mingle with J or M socks, nor do J and M socks ever mingle.
I'm not sure if this is a military thing or not, I just don't know. . . .but the weirdest part of all is . . . I try and match them all by numbers when I do the laundry.
I need to get back to work - and soon - sock mania is drivin me nutso.
Sock Bingo Anyone! "D5 - Bingo!!"
